STEP 1

Click the "Tools" Menu.   Scroll down and click on "Services"

On the new window that pops up, click the "Add" button

STEP 3

On the new window that pops up, make sure that the "Internet Mail" (sometimes called "Internet E-Mail") is selected and click the "OK" button.

STEP 4

 Enter the necessary information.  Don't worry about the "Message Format" button.  It does not contain any settings we need to change.

 When all the information has been entered correctly, click the "Advanced Options" button.

STEP 5

 Enter the necessary information.  After you're finished, click the "OK" button.

STEP 6

 Click the "Connection" tab.  If the user is going to be using a modem, make sure you changed the radio button to "Connect using the modem" and either create or select the appropriate dialer from the drop-down menu.  When finished, click the "OK" button.

STEP 7

Click the "OK" button that now pops up.

STEP 8

 Again, click the "OK" button.

STEP 9

You should now see the "Internet Mail" option added to the "Services" list.  If this is the case, click the "OK" button.  If this is not the case, redo the setup.

STEP 10

Go to the "File" menu and select "Exit"

The setup portion is now complete.   Read below to see how to check for new email.
Click on "Tools" and choose "Check for New Mail"
